Education
Education in this modern world is a fundamental human right and every child is
entitled to receive good schooling which will help them achieve their goals in life. However, it has been found
that Education is not just a fundamental
right but there is irrefutable evidence that it creates such things as;
1 The opportunity for sustainable livelihoods,
2 Raises agricultural and industrial productivity,
3 Provides the basis for sustained and equitable growth,
4 Improves health and nutrition levels,
5 Reduces family size,
6 Raises the level of community participation in local decision-making.
With all this in mind and the value for the economy, it is clear that having a good
Education should be one of the most important gifts any child can be given.
It is important to begin your child’s Education as early as possible because
while kids area at a young age their minds are open and teachable, and it’s a time of life when they view things
with innocence and receptiveness, an ability that lessens as they grow older. So helping your child during these
younger years is very important for their future as it equips our children to walk through the doors of opportunity
in life.
Education is also perceived as a place where children can develop according to
their unique needs and potentialities, and this is very true but to help them develop their unique potentialities
it is very helpful, as mentioned before, for the parent to start the learning process at an early age, giving them
a great start to schooling.
All students want to achieve good grades at school and college because it is a boost to their
self esteem and drives them on to achieve greater things. For children to get a leg up, so as to speak, at the very
beginning of their student life would place them in a position of good self esteem instead of struggling through
the entire education process and seeing themselves as failures.
All learning begins with the need for some motivation or an intention to learn and this can be
achieved by making education fun for kids at a very early age, especially with the major subjects such as Maths and
English, both of which most students find boring and difficult.
Higher Education may not be at the top of our agenda when our kids are young
and not at school yet, but from a parents perspective we should have this in mind from the very beginning and make
education fun for our kids so they will grasp early learning skills which will benefit them later on when they
start their Education through the school system.
